BIG POUR FOR NEW GLASGOW WTWBardon Concrete is continuing its work on upgrading Glasgow’s water supply, supplying more than 44,000 cubic metres of concrete for the building and construction of a new main water treatment facility at Milngavie, eight miles north of the city centre. Sourced from Loch Katrine, the water will be treated at the new facility once fully operational in July 2007.Working on behalf of Scottish Water in partnership with MJ Gleeson, the concrete is being delivered in stages from Bardon Concrete’s plant at nearby Kirkintilloch. To date some 34,000 mts. have been delivered. January 2006 |
