During 2003, Aggregate Industries purchased
Brown & Potter Ltd., a well-established supplier of aggregates and
ready mixed concrete based in Ripon, North Yorkshire.
Given the excellent reputation of the business in North Yorkshire, the
company will retain its name but will operate under the Aggregate Industries
blue triangle symbol, combining the traditional style of the business
with the strength and values of the Aggregate Industries name in the marketplace.
